Summary
This story begins in The Land of The Danes. King Hrothgar is The King of The Danes.Hrothgar builds a hall and calls it Herot. A monster named Grendel decides to attack Herot.. Years pass by and finally another tribe called The Geats hear about this. A warrior of the Geats named Beowulf decides to go help The Danes. Beowulf decides to go fight Grendel. Beowulf rips Grendel's arm off and Grendel dies. Grendel's mother wants revenge on Beowulf because of her son's death. Beowulf kills Grendel's mother by slicing off her head. Beowulf finally returns to the Geats and becomes king and rules. Beowulf becomes aware of a dragon and is feared he will die trying to fight it. Beowulf kills the dragon, but is wounded very badly. Beowulf suffers and finally dies. Beowulf's body is burned by his people on a funeral pyre and a barrow is built to honor him.
